ニュージーランド（１年留学）　Ｙさん

ニュージーランドに来て約3週間が経ちました。最初はどんな生活が待っているのか全く想像もつきませんでしたが、ホームシックもなく毎日楽しく過ごしています。
ニュージーランドに着いた次の日からはホストファミリーと一緒にロトルアというところに行きました。移動中は羊や牛などの動物、たくさんの自然を見ることが出来ました。また帰る前には湖に行ってみんなで泳ぐことができ、とても楽しかったです。
私の通う学校にはwhanauというcolin,chanel,chavoin,champagnat,の4つのハウスがあります。全校生徒はこの4つに分けられ、更にそれをグループとして細く分けます。私はchampngnhという青色のハウスでした。月、火、木曜日の朝はwhanau、水曜日と金曜日の朝はassemblyの時間です。
私が通う学校はカトリックなのでwhanauの時間には一人ずつお祈り等を言い、assemblyの時はたくさんの聖歌を歌います。先日はcityにある大きな教会に行き、一時間のミサがありました。日本では経験したことのない経験が出来て戸惑うこともありますが、新鮮でとても楽しいです。
ホストファミリーや友達はとても優しく接してくれるので、たくさん話して英語が上達するように頑張りたいと思います。

About three weeks have passed since I came to New Zealand.
At first, I couldn’t imagine what kind of life is waiting.
However, I have no homesick and everyday is very fun.

The day after I arrived in New Zealand, I went to Rotorua.
While riding the car, I was able to see a lot of nature, such as sheep and cows.
There was a touch rugby tournament of the host brother.
I saw touch rugby for the first time.
It was very hot outside, but it was really fun to watch.
Also, before returning home, we were able to go to the lake and swim together.
It was very fun.

My school has a group called whanau.
It is divided into four houses, Colin, Chanel, Chavoin, Champagnat.
All students are divided into these four house gropes.
And divide it into small groups.
I was in the blue house called Champagnat.
Whanau time is on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and assembly
time is on Wednesday and Friday.
The school I go to is Catholic so pray at the whanau time.
Also, We sing many chants at the assembly.
A few days ago I went to a big church in the city.
There was a mass for about an hour.
I can experience many things that Japan can’t do.
I’m often confused, but it is very fun with a fresh feeling.
My host family and my friends are very kind so I want to talk a lot and work hard to improve my English.
