イギリス（1年留学）　Ｙさん

12月は私の家族が会いに来てくれたり、クリスマス行事でとても忙しかったです。学校ではクリスマスランチがあったり、家では本物のモミの木が飾られました。日本から来てくれた家族とはロンドンに行き、憧れだったハロッズなどに行ったり、充実した時間を一緒に過ごせて本当に楽しかったです。
ファミリーとはパントマイムに行きました。私は台詞がなくて身体や表情で表現するものだと思っていましたが、イギリスでは、流行歌やダンスなどが盛り込まれた笑劇のことをいうそうです。出演者と観客が一緒に歌ったり、掛け合いをしたり、本当に楽しくてもう一回予約してしまいました。
クリスマスの朝はツリーの下に大量のプレゼントがあり、家族からは大好きなディズニーの本やオルゴールなどをもらって、とっても嬉しかったです。その日はご馳走でした。
年を越す瞬間は、友達、家族とも一緒に手を繋ぎジャンプしながら蛍の光を大熱唱しました。
もうすぐ3週間のクリスマス休暇も終わり、学校が始まるので頑張ります。

I was very busy in December.
My mother and two grandmothers came to England. We met at my school. I introduced my school and my friend.
I was glad that my mother liked it. We went to London together.
I thought London is scary at first . I watched pick-pockets. (スリ）
But it was a pretty place. My favorite places were Harrods and Liberty.
There were lots of pretty shops. We enjoyed shopping. I didn’t want my family to leave. My mother cried at the airport.
I was really glad to see my family!!
The other day, I went to see Pantomime. I loved it!!
It was like a show of the Disney land. So I want to see it again by myself.
I’m going to go to see it tomorrow too. My host family surprised about it.
I want to go to see as many times as I can. I want to see Pantomime in Japan as well.
Soon after Christmas, my Japanese family start preparing for the year-end and New Year’s events every year.
But Christmas tree was still put in my house. We were not busy with events on New Year’s Eve.
I didn’t eat soba noodles called “toshikoshi soba”, and I didn’t watch TV.
So I still felt like Christmas.
But I enjoyed the moment passing to the year. We held hands, jumped , sang and hugged each other.
I have 6 month left to go back to Japan.
I enjoy the rest of my stay in the UK.
