カナダ（1年留学）　Ａさん

期末テストも終わり、クリスマスが近づいています。学校ではまた違った賑わいを見せています。
学校でも家でもクリスマスの装飾を準備しました。日本と比べるとやはりカナダの方がクリスマスがビッグイベントだと感じます。私の家では大きなクリスマスツリーが置いてあり、外には白く輝く棒が屋根からたくさん飾ってあってとてもきれいです。
テストの結果が返ってきて成績も出ました。やはり私に足りないのは授業に積極的に参加する態度、例えば手を挙げて発言することや先生に質問することなどでした。今の私にはそれはとても難しいことですが、少しずつできるように頑張りたいと思います。体育ではみんなと楽しく活動できています。体育は苦手だったのですが、カナダに来てから運動するのが好きになりました。1日に一回、体育の授業があって少し疲れますが、いろいろなスポーツができて楽しいです。
ホストファミリーとはよく映画を見るのですが、その言葉を少しずつ理解できるようになってきました。とても早口で聞き取り辛いのですが、好きな映画をたくさん見られて嬉しいです。そしてこれからも言葉をたくさん理解できるようになりたいです。

The test is over and Christmas day is getting closer. I feel a different crowd at school.
I think Canada has a bigger Christmas event than Japan. Because there are so many decorations.
It is very lively and fun. And Canada is getting colder and the road is starting to freeze.
I should be careful not to catch a cold.
Test results and grades are returned. I realized I needed to speak more. It is also necessary to read various English books. I want to challenge those two things by next year.
There has been no change in school life.
However, some international students return to their home countries. If I could live in Canada for another year, I would like to study abroad for another year.
I’ll prepare more to speak more so that I can get better grades. It is very hard but I will do my best. Teachers at Immaculate are very kind and always support us.
So I will study to give you that repayment.
There are so many words to remember and it is hard to catch up. I often watch movies with my family, but recently I can understand English.
So I will write a diary in English so that I can improve my writing skill.
There won’t be so many days that last, so I will challenge as much as possible.
There are various events in Canada and it is very fun. I want to experience and learn various things from now on.
I’ll try to make a lot of friends more than now.
