ニュージーランド（１年留学） Ａさん

ニュージーランドに来て10か月が経ちました。そろそろお土産や荷物整理も本格的にしなくてはと思っています。

昨日からyear11からyear12の子たちはテスト勉強のため、休みに入っています。それに合わせ、先日、year13のお別れ会がありました。みんなでお菓子を持ち寄ったり、プレゼントを贈ります。日本でいう卒業式に近いです。その日は毎時間みんなでlunchをシェアするので常におなかいっぱいでした。基本的にこの日がみんなに会えるラストチャンスなのでみんなから一言書いて貰えたのが嬉しかったです。最後のクラスがhome economicだったのですが、担当の先生が大のALL BRACKSのファンで負けてしまったことにすごく悔しがっていました。試合について熱く語っていたところがkiwiの方だなぁと思いました。私はファミリーと一緒にテレビ中継で見ていましたが、やはりファミリーも悔しそうでした。Kiwiの人たちにとってニュージーランドの象徴ともいえるスポーツだからかお姉ちゃんもここをこうした方がよかったと熱く語っていました。日本で言えば相撲に当たりますが、女性は興味ない人の方が多いと思うので、新鮮でした。

ここでの生活も残り少ないので、Aucklandで行っておかなければ勿体ない所に行きました。それは、Rainbow’s end というテーマパークです。そこまで広いわけではないのですが、どのアトラクションも迫力があり、とても楽しかったです。中でも私のお気に入りはInvaderというアトラクションです。これは、コーヒーカップのように回りながら左右に動きます。この時、レールが波の様になっているので上下にも動きつつ、スピードも緩急がつけられているのでとても楽しいです。

現地の友達と会えなくなってしまうので離れがたいですが、残り少ない生活を楽しみたいと思います！

Ten months have passed since I came to New Zealand. I’m thinking about making souvenirs and luggage arrangements in earnest.

From yesterday, children from year 11 to year 12 are on vacation to study for the test. In line with that, there was a farewell party for year13 the other day. Everyone brings sweets and presents. It is close to the graduation ceremony in Japan. It was
always full of stomach because everyone shared lunch every day. Basically this was the last chance to meet everyone, so I was glad that everyone gave me a word.
Last class was home economics, but I was very regretted that the teacher in charge was a big ALL BRACKS fan. I thought that kiwi was the one who spoke hotly about the game.
I was watching TV broadcast with my host family, but my family seemed to regret it. The older sister also said that this was better for Kiwi people because it could be said
to be a New Zealand symbolic sport. Speaking in Japan, it is a sumo, but I think that there are many women who are not interested, so it was fresh.
I haven’t had much time to live here, so I went to a place where I had to go to Auckland. It is a theme park called Rainbow ’s end. It wasn’t that wide, but all the attractions were powerful and very fun. My favorite is the attraction called Invader. It moves left and right as it rotates like a coffee cup.
At this time, the rail is like a wave, so it moves up and down, and the speed is slow and fast, and fun.
I can’t get to know my local friends, but I want to enjoy the rest of my
life!
