カナダ（１年留学）　Ｙさん

東京女子学院の皆さんへ
文化祭お疲れ様でした。私はカナダで元気にしてます。

今月私達はキャンプに行きました。オカナガン湖の近くでのキャンプは、とても空気が澄んでいて、外に出る事が少ない私にとっては初めてで新鮮な気持ちになりました。カナダ人の沢山のお友達もできましたし、ご飯がとても美味しかったです。

私の誕生日には、カナダ人の友達とホストマザーがそれぞれケーキをつくってくれました。沢山のプレゼントもくださリ記憶に残る誕生日になりました。ありがとうの気持ちでいっぱいです！

今日は、私は部屋の掃除をしました。洗濯物にシーツ枕カバーなどを洗いました。
ピカピカに部屋が綺麗になって嬉しいです。私自身は、掃除は好きではないです。
実の両親，おじ，祖母祖父ともに綺麗好きなので、日本ではしぶしぶ掃除してました。今では、掃除する事が好きです。綺麗な部屋だと，気持ちもさっぱりしますし、暇さえあれば片ずけしてます。目標の部屋は、いつ来客があっても恥ずかしくない部屋です。

カナダの学校の授業では、英語の授業が一番難しいです。英語の授業は、英語を学ぶのではなく、日本でいういわゆる国語の授業をします。長文の英語は、とても読むのが大変です。一か月後には、もう少しスラスラ読めるように日々努力をしています。

もう9月も終わると思うと時の流れが早いですね… 。一年後もっと成長して英語も上達しているように今必死になって頑張ってます。
最後に日本の皆さんも体調に気をつけて下さい。

Hello, how are you?
I’m very good.
About two months have already passed since I came to Canada.
Now, I have many Canadian friends.
They are very nice,cheerful, and kind.

We went camping near the lake “Okanagan”.
Lake Okanagan is very beautiful and huge.
I did canoe with my Canadian friends.
I had very relaxing time on canoe.
We watched movies at night, which I really enjoyed myself, and
movies were also very nice.
I love watching movies because it’s very entertaining.
We ate s’more.
S’more is very popular Canada and America camping food.
We enjoyed some activities.
For example played Canadian games.

September 19 th was my birthday.
My friends, host family, and teacher gave me very cute gifts.
They were singing happy birthday song for me.
I was happy.
Thank you very much.
I ate cakes and pizza.
My Canadian friend and host mother made cake.
I ate two different cakes .
They were really delicious.

Yesterday was very good day because it was my birthday.
I took a shower in the morning and it was very relaxing to me .
I want to clean my room.
I didn’t have regular lessons because it was a collaboration day.
Collaboration day is an activity day.
So, we went to the liberty at 10:30.
I studied English with my teacher and friends.
I enjoyed my English class.
After that, we went to the mall.
I ate pizza and sandwich.
That was my first time to eat subway sandwiches.
I enjoy my Canadian life so far.
It is getting colder and colder here, so please take care of yourself.
