ニュージーランド（1年留学）Ａさん

ニュージーランドに来て六か月が経ちました。留学当初はホームシックで落ち込んでたときもありましたが、今は沢山出来た現地の友人達と楽しく過ごしています。
今月は上旬から２週間のholidayだったので、イベントに参加したり、友達と遊びに出かけたりしました。イベントというのは学校主催のballというダンスパーティーです。これはholidayが始まる前日に行われました。みんなで踊ったり歌ったり、プロのカメラマンさんに写真撮影をしてもらったりしてとても楽しかったです。このパーティーは驚くことに夜７時から１２時まで開催されたので、途中から眠いのを我慢して踊っていました。（笑）夜ご飯はビュッフェ形式でフィッシュアンドチップスやパイ等がありました。どれもとても美味しく、食べ過ぎてしまうほどでした。

友達とSilvia parkに行きました。そこには日本のデパートのように沢山のお店があります。二人で化粧品店を覗いたり、映画のスパイダーマンを見たりしました。何か買ったわけではないのですが、二人で色んなお店を見て回り、洋服屋さんでお互いを見繕ったりしてとても楽しい時間を過ごしました。。Silvia parkはとても広いので帰るころにはくたくたになってしまいましたが、良い思い出ができたなと思っています。

留学生活も残り少なくなって来ましたが、頑張っていきたいです。

Six months have passed since I came to New Zealand. When I first studied abroad, I was homesick and depressed, but now I have a lot of fun with my many local friends.
It was a two week holiday from the beginning of this month, so I participated in the event and went out with my friends. The event is a dance party called ball organized by the school. This was done the day before the holiday started. It was a lot of fun to dance and sing with everyone, and to have a professional photographer take photos. As this party was held from 7 to 12 o’clock, it was surprising that she was dancing with patience from the middle of the night. (Laughs) There were fish and chips, pies, etc. in the buffet style for the night meal. All were so delicious that they overeat.

Silvia park went with a friend. There are many shops like Japanese department stores.
Two people went to the cosmetics store and saw a movie Spider-Man. I didn’t buy anything, but I went around looking at various shops with two people, and I had a great time watching each other in the clothes shop. The Silvia park is so large that I was tired when I returned home, but I think I had good memories.

My study abroad life has been reduced, but I would like to do my best.
