今月は、新しい環境に慣れるのが大変でしたが、とても充実した日々を過ごしています。

　学校では、英語の授業に少し苦戦しましたが、先生や友達が優しく教えてくれたので、少しずつ慣れてきました。授業中はできるだけ英語で話すように心がけています。クラスメートも親切で、ランチタイムには一緒に話したり、遊んだりしています。

　ホームステイ先の家族もとても温かく、私のことを家族の一員のように迎えてくれています。最初は食事や生活習慣の違いに驚きましたが、少しずつ慣れてきました。夕食のときには、その日あったことを話しながら楽しい時間を過ごしています。

　また、週末にはホストファミリーと一緒に観光地へ行ったり、自然の中で過ごしたりしています。ニュージーランドの風景はとても美しく、特に広い草原や青い海が印象的でした。

　まだ分からないことも多いですが、これからも積極的に英語を使いながら、たくさんのことを学びたいです。

Monthly Report – One Month Abroad

It has been a month since I arrived for my study abroad program, and time has flown by quickly. During this period, I have faced both exciting and challenging experiences. First, my language skills have improved as I practice English daily. Communicating with locals and classmates has boosted my confidence. Although I still struggle with complex expressions, I am becoming more comfortable in conversations. Second, adapting to a new culture has been both fun and difficult. I enjoy trying different foods and learning about local customs, but some cultural differences are surprising. For example, people’s communication styles and social habits are different from what I am used to.

Academically, my classes are engaging, but they require more participation than I expected. Expressing my thoughts in English during discussions is challenging, but I see it as a great opportunity to grow. Additionally, I have made new friends from different countries. Talking with them has widened my perspective and taught me about diverse cultures.

Looking ahead, I want to improve my listening skills and participate more actively in class. I also plan to explore more places and experience new things. This first month has been a valuable learning experience, and I am excited for the coming months.
