カナダ1年留学　Iさん

Four months have already passed since I stayed in Canada.

  As I was approaching the midpoint of my study abroad life, my school life had become much more stable, and I could see growth in the quizzes in each of my classes. In particular, the score of the chemistry quiz is increasing. I have a big exam at the end of next month, so I want to study hard during the Christmas holidays.

    There were a lot of events at Christmas and New Year this month, so it was a lot of fun. Especially at Christmas, we’ve been doing a lot of events since about a month ago.

  On the other hand, I’m worried because I can’t get along with my host family. I don’t often go out for a long time with her because she is an elderly woman, so I’m worried about how to have fun. I want to talk a lot and get along during the Christmas holidays.

カナダに滞在して約4ヶ月が経過しました。

　留学生活も中盤に差し掛かっていますが、学校生活がかなり安定してきていて、各授業の小テストなどでも成長を感じました。特に化学の授業では小テストの点数が少しずつ上がってきていて、成長を感じています。12月後半からはクリスマス休暇に入りますが、来月には2教科大きな学期末の試験があるので、その試験に向けてあまり遊びすぎないように勉強もがんばりたいです。

　今月はクリスマスや年末年始でイベントが多かったので、とても楽しかったです。特にクリスマスは約1ヶ月前から沢山のイベントがあり、学校でもショーケースやお菓子を作って配るイベントなど、さまざまなことに参加できてとても楽しかったです。

　一方で、ホストファミリーとなかなか仲を深めることができず、悩んでいます。お年寄りなので、一緒に長時間出かけたり遊びに行くことがあまりなかったり、話が合わなかったりして、どうしたら楽しく過ごせるのか悩んでいるので、クリスマス休暇の間で沢山会話をして仲良くなりたいです。
