アメリカ1年留学　Fさん

It’s been 4 months since I came to America. In the US this month, “thanksgiving holiday” It is said that it is a day when family members who always take care of them get together and spend the New Year’s holiday in Japan.　My host mother told me that this is the biggest holiday in America. And holiday is on November 23^rd. My school was closed five days before that. We have a little over a week off from November 18th to the 27th. In the meantime, I spent 5 hours flying to Florida where my host mother’s older sister lives. I’m looking forward to going to the beach and Universal in Florida! I want to thank my host family for always taking me to various places!! I was glad that my host mother told me that my English is getting　better day by day.

I’m looking forward to seeing my host father’s father, mother and relatives when I get back from Florida! I has gotten used to this new school life, and I am grateful to my friends teaching me English and helping me during class.

アメリカに来て4ヶ月が経ちました。今月アメリカでは「thanksgiving holiday」と言って、いつもお世話になっている家族親族たちが集まって日本でいう年越しのように過ごす日だそうです。この祝日はアメリカで1番たいけつな祝日だとホストマザーが教えてくれました。そしてholidayは11月23日にありますが、私の学校ではその5日前から休みになり、11月18日から27日までの1週間ちょっとの長い休みがあります。そしてその間に私はホストマザーの姉が住んでいるというフロリダ州に飛行機で5時間かけて行く事になりました。フロリダ州ではビーチやユニバーサルにも行くという事なので楽しみです！

いつもいろんな場所に連れて行ってもらえて感謝をしています！！英語力も「あなたの英語は日に日に良くなってる！」ってホストマザーに言ってもらえて嬉しかったです。

フロリダ州から帰ったらユタ州にある別荘に行ってホストファザーのお父さんお母さん、親戚たちにも会うそうなので楽しみです！　学校生活は慣れてきて友達もできて英語を教えてくれたり授業中に助けてくれたりして感謝しています。私の家もクリスマスのライトがたくさんついてすごいクリスマス気分です！
