Hey guys , I’m Hana.

I arrived in Oregon 4 month ago. I have done in my fourth month in the US.

December is the Christmas month of a big event in the US! It’s full of Christmas decorations from the house to the outside. And there was also a dance competition! I was able to win the first place again. I’m very happy. I’m preparing for the competition in January, so I’m practicing for it now. Please look forward to next month’s report.

In the US, we went on winter vacation earlier than in Japan. I invited my friend to my house and sleepover with her. We had dinner and went shopping. Also, when we were watching a horror movie and an interesting movie, we fell asleep before we knew it! But I had a very enjoyable night.

On the 24th, I received matching Christmas pajamas as a gift from my host mother. That night’s dinner was steak. It was very big, soft and delicious. I received a second present on the morning of the 25th. There were a lot of things I liked there. At lunchtime, my host family relatives gathered and ate lunch with everyone, and I got a lot of new gifts from my host family, and I also gave them my host family . Then we all played a board game called Crew. We all watched a movie at night and it was a very fun day.

I watched Avatar II in 3D on the 26th. I was very happy because it was a movie that my host family and I were really looking forward to. It was the best!

On the last day of this year, my friend invited me to the party. I enjoyed playing card games and playing Mario Kart. I sleepover and will spent the new year day’s together.

There were a lot of hardships when I experienced something completely different from Japan, but it was very fulfilling and it was the most memorable year of my life!

今月はアメリカでは大イベント・クリスマスの月です！家の中から外までクリスマスの飾り物でいっぱいです。

そして私はダンスの大会もありました！私は２つ目の１位を獲得することができました。とても嬉しいです。私は１月にも大会を控えているためそれに向けて今練習をしています。来月のレポートを楽しみにしていてください。

アメリカでは日本よりも早く冬休みに入りました。私はお友達を家に招き一緒にお泊まり会をしました。まず夜ごはんを食べ、買い物に行きました。そのあとホラー映画と面白い映画を観ていたらいつの間にか寝てしまっていました！それでも凄く楽しい夜を過ごせました。

２４日はホストマザーからお揃いのクリスマスパジャマをプレゼントしてもらいました。その日の夜ご飯はステーキでした。それはとても大きく柔らかくて美味しかったです。２５日の朝は２つ目のプレゼントをもらいました。プレゼントにはわたしの好きなものが沢山入っていました。お昼には親戚が集まり皆でご飯を食べて、新たにとても沢山のプレゼントをホストファミリーから貰い、私も彼らにプレゼントをあげました。それからクルーというゲームを皆でしました。夜には皆で映画を観てとても楽しい1日になりました。

26日はavatar2を３Ｄで観ました。私もホストファミリーもすごく楽しみにしていた映画だったので観ることができてとてもうれしかったです。最高でした！

今年最後の日はお友達のパーティーに招待してもらいました。カードゲームをしたりマリオカートをして楽しみました。私はお泊まりをして一緒に年明けをするつもりです。

日本とは全くちがうことを体験して大変なことも沢山あったけど、とても充実してて人生で1番記憶に残る１年になりました！
