~Feature of IGK~

• Easy to learn English because the class is a small groups.
• The distance between students and teachers is close.
• There are activities after school , and you can try various things.
• We accept international students from many countries, so you can learn about the culture of other countries.
• A microwave oven , refrigerator, and water heater are installed and you can drink coffee and tea freely.
• Barbecuse are held sometimes.

~access~

since it is located in the center of downtown where many people come and go. It is very convenient to go to school by bus!

• when going to school by riding No,10 and No,11

You can get off at the bus stop(Bernard at Bertram) in front of IGK.

• when commuting to school by taking another bus

It is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop (Queens way Exchange ). Where the there are many bus stops.

~How to have fun after school~

• Participate in after-school activities!!

There are activities after school at IGK. There are many Kinds of sports experiences and eating food. Participation is not compulsory , so you can choose and participate in activities that interest you.

　　●Tour around downtown

In addition to restaurants such as supermarket, sushi restaurants , and cafes. There are many shops such as souvenir and clothing stores.

　　●Swim in the lake

There is a lake downtown where you can swim. In the summer, it might be fun to swim after working hard at English?

　　●Shoppinng at the mall!!

There is orchard park Exchange at bus stops No,10 and No, 11. There is a mall called Orchard Park in front of the bus stops, where you can enjoy many shops that sell clothes and miscellaneous goods. There is also a food court where you can enjoy your meal.

留学に来てから2ヶ月。慣れてきたからこそ、気づくこともあり充実した1ヶ月でした。日本では誰かの意見に同意、異議を示し、異議の場合の意見を聞いてみんなで理解を深めるというだけでしたが、IGKでは特に先生方が個人個人の意見を尊重してくださり、例え意見が同じであっても自分の意見をしっかり言う場を毎回毎回いただくことができます。少人数制だからこそクラスメイト全員の意見を尊重しつつ、自分の意見を言うこともできる授業に凄くやりがいを感じることができています。多くの国の幅広い年代の方々と英語を通じてコミュニケーションを取れるということは語学学校ならではであり、とても貴重な体験だと思います。

ホストファミリーともコミュニケーションを取れるようになり一緒にテレビを見たりカナダならではの国の文化や今の課題などを多く知ることができています。また、新しい単語も教えてくれるので学校内だけでなく家でも新しい学びができる子とがすごく嬉しいです。あと残り1ヶ月、とてもあっという間に感じています。3ヶ月という短い間だからこそ吸収できることをたくさん吸収し、日本で活かせるように頑張りたいと思います。
