San Diego has a nice climate and is very comfortable!

It’s been a month since I came to America.

I was very nervous while on the plane, but m y host family greeted me kindly when I arrived at the airport.

At first, there were many things that were difficult to understand, but I gradually got used to life in America.

I go to school from Monday to Friday. I made many friends at school. Everyone is very kind and friendly.

After school, I often buy ice cream or Starbucks with my friends. I really enjoy dancing and talking with them! There are small children at school, so I help them with their homework, they are so cute! I’m happy to be able to talk with children who are older than me.

In class at school, the teacher speaks so fast that it is difficult for me to understand, but after the class is over, I try to ask the teacher what I didn’t understand.

I always go out with my host family on weekends. Going to the beach and shopping together is a lot of fun!

I was surprised at how big supermarkets are in America. There are many types of things for sale and they are very large. Last week, I went to a Japanese restaurant with my host mother, I ate sushi and yakisoba there.

The taste of sushi was not much different from Japan, but the price of sushi was higher than in Japan.

At home, I eat a lot of food that I can’t eat in Japan. The food prepared by the host family is also very delicious.

I went camping with my host family’s grandchildren, I enjoyed going to the beach , playing with the children and talking with them! We also had a campfire at night.

For the remaining month, I want to expenrience things that I can’t do in Japan.
