October is quickly coming to an end. It is getting much colder in Vancouver, and recently the temperature has been minus ten degrees Celsius.

October means Halloween, right? This year on Halloween, we were dressed up in costumes at school, played games together, and got Halloween candy from teachers. Also, after school on that day, I went trick-or-treating for three hours near the school. In Canada, many people start preparing for Halloween from the beginning of October. A lot of Halloween related events are also available from the first week of October. I participated in a fireworks show one week before Halloween. Even though it was not Halloween yet, people came in all kinds of interesting outfits, danced Halloween dances with strangers, and watched fireworks while eating popcorn, etc. It was fun.

I was busy with many tests and individual projects in October, but I learned a lot of new things by going to the library in Vancouver and studying all day while talking and thinking about homework with my friends. As for the tests, I knew that there were a lot of difficult words in computer science and chemistry classes, so I studied hard and tried to do my best. Almost every week there are quizzes and tests in various subjects.

In terms of daily life, I like to go around Vancouver on my days off. Sometimes I go downtown by bus or Sky Train to enjoy the ocean, eat delicious food, and sometimes I go to Richmond for a day of shopping.

October went by so fast, so I’m looking forward to making the most of November.

あっという間に10月が終わりました。バンクーバーはだいぶ寒くなってきました、最近は10度以下の日が続いています。

10月って言ったら、ハロウィンですよね。 今年のハロウィンは学校でコスプレをしたり、みんなでゲームをしたり、ハロウィンのお菓子を先生からもらったりしました。また当日の放課後は友達と一緒に学校の近くで3時間もtrick or treatをしました。そして、カナダでは10月の始まりからハロウィンの準備をしている人が多いです。 たくさんハロウィンに関するイベントも10月の最初の週からあります。私はハロウィンの1週間前のファイヤーオークションに参加しました。まだハロウィンではないのにみんないろいろな面白い服装で来てて、ハロウィンダンスを知らない人と一緒に踊った,ポップコーンを食べながら花火を見たりしました。楽しかったです。

　学校生活は全て慣れました。10月はテストがたくさんあったり、個人のプロジェクトがあったりして忙しかったが、 バンクーバーの図書館に行って1日勉強しながら友達と一緒に宿題について話したり考えたりしてたくさん 新しいことを学ぶことができました。テストに関して、コンピューターサイエンスや 化学などの授業でたくさん難しい単語が出てくることを知ってしっかり 復習してベストを尽くすように努力しました。ほぼ毎週 いろいろな教科はクイズやテストがあります。

生活面では、最近休日はバンクーバーを回るのが好きです。バスやSky Trainに乗ってダウンタウンに行って海を見ながら美味しいものを食べる時もあれば、リッチモンドに行って 1日ショッピングをする時もあります。

あっという間に10月が終わったので11月を大事にしながら頑張りたいです。
